I found a promo code on the site and tried it at checkout, and it worked on the first try with no hassle. It took a few dollars off my order, so I’m happy with it. if the deals stop working like that, I’d probably just shop somewhere else, but this time it was smooth.

I needed to update my account info and, it was easy. I’m used to these account pages being annoying, like really annoying, with random errors or too many steps or stuff not loading. But this time the login worked, I found the settings fast, and I didn’t have to sit there waiting around. I usually complain about account settings because they’re always a hassle, always confusing, always making something simple take forever, but this actually just worked the way it should.

They’ve got a ton of books and cute gifts to choose from, which is awesome. I just wish some stuff was actually in stock more often, because it’s kind of a pain in the butt when you find something you want and it’s nowhere to be found.

I always enjoy stopping into Deseret Book because it just has a really calm, comfortable feel. It’s quiet, not overly bright, and it never has that chaotic vibe you get in some stores where it feels like they’re trying to hurry you along or overwhelm you into buying something.
The music is peaceful, the layout is easy to walk through, and the employees are friendly without hovering. Maybe other places could take a hint, because this is just a nice, relaxing store to browse in.

I ordered a book and didn’t realize until after that it was on backorder, which was a little frustrating. It ended up taking maybe a couple weeks longer than I expected, but they did send email updates along the way and it shipped around when they said it would. I wasn’t stuck guessing what was happening, so that helped. Overall it was fine, probably a 4 out of 5 experience, but I do wish the backorder info had been clearer before checkout

I’ve had a really frustrating time ordering from deseretbook.com. Twice now, the site showed the book as available, let me go through the whole checkout process, and then a few days later I get one of those automated emails saying it’s actually backordered or cancelled. It’s so irritating dealing with these systems that act like everything is fine until some bot message tells you otherwise. If you don’t have it, just say it’s out of stock from the start. Would’ve saved me the time and hassle

My order from Deseret Book came in without any dents or bent corners, which I appreciated. The packaging was sturdy, and everything inside looked clean and well protected. Happy with how it all showed up.

But the app is kinda slow sometimes, and a few times it didn’t save my spot in an audiobook which is annoying. Downloads have glitched on me too here and there. It’s not awful or anything, just gets frustrating when you already paid for it.
